Luminar is a lone star in the far north, a place often ignored or forgotten by the rest of the world. Such makes it a magnet to those who seek a place to hide or desperate to start a new life. Situated just inside the Evernight, it is always frozen night in Luminar. Only by the careful management of a glyphed spell of sunlight does the town survive. Even so, the dangers that lurk in the Evernight are ever near, stalking and waiting for the town’s imitation sun to fail.
Luminar is a place of danger, a place with few allies and fewer friends. Even so, the Cobalt College has a branch there, seeking to learn from the Evernight and probing its depths for yet-to-learn secrets.
